Why hire a Pet Nanny?

Most pets become stressed when their human family is away from home. The anxiety level is frequently heightened when they are placed in unfamiliar surroundings, such as a kennel or day camp. Many times, pets will not eat or take medication well. A pet nanny provides the stability that a pet needs while its family is gone.

Most pet nannies are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and can administer medication, PLUS the pet is able to stay in its own “home sweet home” where it is familiar with its surroundings, sounds, and smells. Just like humans, pets love the comfort of their own home where they can snooze  in their own cozy bed.

A good pet nanny is also security for you and your home.  We can help deter any crime that may happen to your home while you are gone, because we usually check on the pet/home three times a day or more.  Depending on your needs, some of us even stay overnight in your home.
